DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

The Myuna Bay Sports and Recreation Centre Demolition and Remediation Project entailed the comprehensive dismantling and rehabilitation of the former sports and recreational facility. The site, once a hub of community activity, housed numerous buildings, structures, designated activity zones, and areas identified as contaminated hotspots, all of which required careful demolition and thorough remediation. The project not only focused on the safe removal of all existing infrastructure but also ensured that environmental concerns were fully addressed, restoring the land to its natural state. Upon completion, the site was handed back as open native parkland to NSW Public Works, creating a revitalised and environmentally sustainable area for future community use.
