DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

Ford Civil was engaged by DP World Sydney to deliver the development of Lot 13 within the Port Botany Terminal, transforming an undeveloped parcel of land into a fully operational heavy-duty pavement facility, suitable for the handling and storage of empty shipping containers up to six high. Operating within one of Australia’s busiest container terminals, the project required careful planning and execution to ensure seamless integration with 24/7 port operations, including RTGs, forklifts, ITV movements and quay crane activities. The project involved the construction of new pavements, stormwater upgrades, electrical and communications conduit provision, concrete structures and security infrastructure—ultimately supporting DP World’s continued operational growth at Port Botany. Works were delivered in close coordination with terminal operations to maintain safety, efficiency and the maritime security requirements of the site.
